Selection Process
GSL will select candidates for all posts other than Junior Manager through an interview. If application numbers are high, the organisation may increase the minimum eligibility criteria to shortlist applicants.
For the two Junior Manager vacancies, the process consists of a written test worth 85 marks, document verification for candidates who qualify, and an interview worth 15 marks. UR and EWS candidates must score at least 50% in the written test and interview; SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and PwBD candidates must score at least 45% where the post is reserved for the relevant category. The final merit list uses the combined written-test and interview marks. If candidates tie, the older candidate receives preference.
Outstation candidates called for interview are eligible for travel allowance: economy-class airfare for CGM and GM candidates, and AC II-tier rail fare for AGM and lower-level candidates. Waitlisted rail tickets are not reimbursed.
Eligible candidates should check the detailed official notice, select a post matching their qualifications and experience, and submit the online form by 22 November 2026 at 5:00 PM. Remember that the printed application and supporting documents must also reach GSL by 2 December 2026.
